A microinverter is a miniature grid-tie inverter installed on each solar panel. Deye offers models from 300 W to 2.25 kW for 1–4 panels. Advantages: independent MPPT per panel, module-level monitoring in Deye Cloud, no high-voltage DC on the roof, easy scaling. The most popular use case is 600–800 W balcony solar: two panels, a Deye SUN-M80G4-EU-Q0 and a regular socket, producing 600–900 kWh per year.
