A Deye hybrid inverter with a LiFePO4 battery is a whole-house UPS: 4 ms switching, 5–20 kW power, 6000+ battery cycles. Unlike a standby generator or a small UPS, the system works daily, cutting electricity bills with solar panels or off-peak tariffs. A generator can be connected as second-level backup — Deye starts it automatically when the battery runs low.
